Again, the movie was not well-received by critics but was a box office success, grossing over $92 million worldwide.

The third and final movie in the trilogy, Anacondas: Trail of Blood, was released direct-to-video in 2009. It starred Crystal Allen and Linden Ashby, and follows a woman who cloned an anaconda and then must stop it when it escapes into the sewers of Los Angeles. This movie was even less well-received than the previous two but still managed to make over $13 million worldwide.
